When the Impossible Becomes Reality: My Journey of 35 Ironmans for the Glory of Jesus Christ in a Single Year
All honor and all glory to Jesus Christ, first and foremost. He is my strength and my fortress. Without Him, none of this would have happened in my life.

In 2025, I experienced something I never imagined: three Decas and one Quintuple in a single year, the equivalent of 35 Ironmans. For those unfamiliar with these distances, an Ironman includes 3.8 km of swimming, 180 km of cycling and a 42.2 km marathon. A Quintuple Ultra Triathlon multiplies that distance five times, with 19 km of swimming, 900 km of cycling and 211 km of running. A Deca Ultra Triathlon pushes the limits even further with 38 km of swimming, 1,800 km of cycling and 422 km of running.
Throughout the year, I completed 114 km of swimming, 5,400 km of cycling and 1,055 km of running. These numbers represent more than physical endurance. They are a testimony that when Jesus walks ahead of you, what once seemed impossible becomes reality.
What once felt unlikely, even to me, unfolded before my eyes because the plans of Jesus are far greater than our own. My intention at first was simply to complete a Quintuple. I trained hard and prepared for that challenge, but God guided every step. He opened paths I never expected and allowed everything to flow in a way that revealed His purpose. Through this journey, I witnessed that miracles truly happen when you surrender your life to Him. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.

My heart is overflowing with gratitude. I want to thank Ming and his entire team for organizing events filled with care, structure and love. Their work made each experience unforgettable. I am also deeply grateful to Terry and the Sentinel team, my sponsors, who believed in me and supported my mission. You are part of this story.
I am thankful for every athlete and friend who shared moments with me throughout these challenges. Every conversation, every smile and every embrace made the journey even more meaningful. I hold all of you in my heart.
My gratitude extends to my family and friends, who believed in me, prayed for me and gave me strength when the days were difficult. You are a part of every victory. And to my wife, Lauma, thank you for your patience, your love and your support. I know it is not always easy to walk beside someone so determined. I love you, my love, and I am coming home.
To everyone who supported me, followed each stage of this year and cheered for me, thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Completing three Decas and one Quintuple in a single year is more than a physical achievement. It is a declaration of faith. When Jesus leads, the impossible becomes possible.
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid. Do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
